Environmental Policy

  

The Homework Diary Company strives to have as little effect on our environment as possible. All the materials (paper and board) that we use in the production of our products are from sustainable sources (grown for paper production). 

 

We endeavour to ensure that materials are all chlorine bleach free. All inks used in the production of our products are vegetable based and not solvent based.

 

All of our printer cartridges are recycled, our production waste is recycled and we operate a total shutdown policy on all equipment out of hours (saving electricity and gas).

 

Our aim is to be carbon neutral by 2010.

 

All suppliers to The Homework Diary Company are required to supply us with “Environmental Policy” documents.

 

We encourage you to use our “electronic” samples which allow you to see our products without the need for posting samples therefore saving on waste (you can of course have samples sent to you if you prefer).

 

Our “DiaryBuilder” software eliminates the need for posting proofs to our customers as they can view electronic proofs online.
